NIce Site. I hope it is getting lots of exposure. Have you considered trying to get Clubs to add info about this Site to their Web Sites??

I added the ICOM IC-7000 to your gear list. Hope that worked OK.

Hi Chris,
Man like the new look! It fits you brah, If you get a chance come by 3.820Mhz Monday -Friday at 0430UTC. We have the Camradio.net there and you can see us streaming in HD at www.camradio.net Live.
Their are three divivsions; East, West and Canada. I am in the East Group. Hope to see you and hear on the Frequency. We even on during the weekends too, come join us in a lil RF Therapy!

How do you like that Taktenna you got at the hamfest? I have had pretty good luck with mine. I have it at a little under 6 feet off the ground. Doesnt break the contest pile ups but works alot of stations.

Yep, that is a VX-8R in the picture. Great radio. Currently there is not an APRS receiver in the area close enough to hit with it, but that is being worked on. Are you planning to do the upgrade http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/ht/0008vx8dr.html ?

Just watched Episode 44 of Hambrief. Noticed the lighting was off a bit.

Check out Film Riot, they have a great little segment on lighting that is easy to do, and will make the scene stand out much better.

Just watched your latest videocast and you mentioned being able to do “tweets” via APRS. Do you have any more information about how this is done or could you do a videocast on the subject. Keep of the good work.

Our 1.2 is quiet as well. Although, that may be because it just came online last week. And no one has a radio for that yet. So I suppose we may not know whether our 1.2 system even works or not!

P.S. Note to all who are thinking about ATAS-120: Be very careful with them. Fragile stuff, and won’t take a beating! Must be sent back to factory for repairs. Works great, wish it was bullet-proof!

Is the APRS thingy still not working on the sight? I don’t see APRS messages anymore. I don’t see me on the mappy thingy either.

I am soooo incredibly bored right now. Maybe I’ll tweet about how bored I am and other’s can tweet their simpathies. Or perhaps Tweeting isn’t the way to go and I should APRS how bored I am. Then again, that would not be a two-way communication and Big Brother may not like it.

Oh well, there’s always Facebook…

the bike ht worked out ok the magmount i had to zip tie down bumps nocked it off and i added a wooden box to the bag it was too flimsy

thanks! i think i might test it out tonight.i havent figured out how i will wire up a head set and still have the gps yet.i think the speakmic might be to noisy. i have a throat mic i want to wire for it.. enjoy setting yours up i did

its made for police cars well trucks in this case, expensive but worth it.i still have one space to fill. maybe 2 if i continue not to get anyone on 6m fm. pc’s dont last long enough for me.
